Questions buyers ask

Which one should I buy?

The SetPower if you care about the warranty and what happens when you unplug. The BougeRV if you want the colder freezer and the lower price.

Will either one drain the car battery?

Not if you use the mid or high cutoff. Both stop the compressor before a starter battery goes flat. A full night still wants a house battery or a power station.

Which one freezes colder?

The BougeRV. −8°F against −4°F. Both will make ice. The CR22 has more room when the car is hot.

Do I need a power station?

For a drive on the 12V socket, no. For camp with the engine off, yes. Pre-cool on household power before you leave. The station comparison is here.
